A lawyer, based on the definition of Black's Law Dictionary: "a person learned in the law; as an attorney, counsel or solicitor; a person who is practicing law."
Law is a system of regulations of conduct founded by the sovereign authorities of a society to right wrongs, uphold the steadiness of political and as a consequence social authority, as well as provide justice. This is one of the most important aspects of legislation to provide as much justice as possible!
Operating as an attorney in our legislation (beeing the United States) includes the best possible use of abstract legal concepts together with know-how to fix particular individualized issues, or to advance the interests of those who retain (e.g., hire) solicitors to carry out services. I am going to write about the exact differences between attorneys and lawyers in future posts.
